Abbey Road Artists Studios: Westmeath County Council
Abbey Road Artists’ Studios is a resource for professional artists of all disciplines set in the heart of Athlone Town. It comprises three individual studio spaces available for both long and short-term lettings and one studio space allocated to the Abbey Road Community Artist Residency Scheme. Funded by Westmeath County Arts Office, the Abbey Road Community Artist Residency Scheme offers one studio space in Abbey Road Artists’ Studios to an artist interested in facilitating workshops with community groups for a six-month period. Abbey Road Artists’ Studios also offer a large multi-purpose upstairs space suitable for a variety of community cultural events including exhibitions, performances, workshops, seminars and community group meet ups.
